COBO
Group is made up of other Companies as well, specialized in
the production of tooling and basic components (instruments,
harnesses, electrical and electronical components, etc.) for
the realization of finished products. The whole Group has
a total annual turnover of USD 110.000.000 and about 700 employees.
COBO International, belonging to COBO Group, set itself up
on the American market with a well defined mission: supply
complete systems to the non-automotive market. Actually, the
evolution of the off road and industrial vehicles international
market (agricultural machines, earth moving machines, , buses,
lift trucks, etc.) requires more and more expert suppliers.
They have to be technical consultants, besides being commercial
partners, and able to support the customers with a quality,
a service and a logistic level till now peculiar to the automotive
market. COBO Group, through its organization, is able to meet
these requirements, thanks to its 3 main lifebloods, that
are:
- the electrical components – designed, developed and
manufactured by COBO in Leno;
- the mechanical components (seats, wheels, steering columns)
- designed, developed and manufactured by COBO MT division
in Reggio Emilia;
- the harnesses, instruments and various systems - designed,
developed and manufactured by CIAM in Montecchio. |

The
joining of these 3 companies in the same Group has allowed
to develop a very wide range of components and has made
extremely interesting also the medium-small customers.
In fact, this policy lets the customers reduce the number
of suppliers and take advantage of the technical and
commercial assistance that the Group can supply, even
with customized products. And the customer itself becomes
extremely interesting, as the possibility to supply
a wide range of components lets the business be of interest,
even if its manufacturing capacity in terms of quantities
is limited. |

the market of the U.S. developed considerably in these
last years, it has always complained the lack of an
organization like the one of COBO Group. COBO International
has been founded in order to comply with this requirement,
that is to allow, through a structure composed and managed
by American personnel (even though under direct control
of the head company), to offer the same service, assistance,
logistic, flexibility and price level that distinguish
the activity of the COBO Group in the Old Continent. |
